Well guys, last year I got posted to the west coast and finally had enough. After 22 years and 244 days (but who was counting) I knew when it was time to go and boy is retirement good. The family and I finally moved home this past July to the South Shore and I've been hitting the old hunting haunts that I had enjoyed so much in the past. Thanks for the all the support over the years while we served.
On a special note,
Thank you Gary (New Guy) for the letter you had written to which cockroach read at my retirement function. Of all the accolades and best wishes thrown around that day, hearing your rant meant the most to me. Thanks brother, it's good to see there are still decent people out there. I'm glad to still consider you this old fella's best man and friend after all these years. Cheers.................. Johnny-G
On another note brother the hunting home has been a blast down this neck of the province. Wish you were here man, its fun but not the same hearing you bitch about the cold, sideways rain, tide, seagulls the rotation of the earth. Besides the occasional trip into town for pizza at the wee hours of the morning has been interesting...... hmmm lol.
Next time you and the girls get down this neck of the woods, bring your hunting gear man................... Johnny-G
