Tried something new for a quick patch ..it worked too
On Makayla`s duck boat there was a hole in the bottom the boat it is all fiber glass ,and its not good warm dry weather for doing it outside and i wanted to turn it over and store it so i had to fix the hole some how..
Macgyver in me comes up with the spray on rubberized european undercoating for inside your wheel wells to stop rock chips..i figured it has worked on my trucks for years why not for a quick patch..lo and behold after a few sprayings in layers it filled the hole and sealed it i used a piece of plastic to give it a flat finish instead of the bumpy apearance in the wheel wells .just peeled the plastic off and let it dry wa la..good enough till i can have a good day to do the glassing...
truth be told it would make a hell of a spray on sealer for any boat to keep rock chips out your fiber glass...i must check to see if i can buy it in cans and roll it on???the wheels are turning.......
