I decided enough studying this afternoon, so i took an hour or so to finish up my folding boat blind that chezz, Mr Nova, and Patman helped make up the opening day. I fastened some pipe wrap along the top rail to protect the gun barrels from cranging off the bare metal. It will also prevent the rattling on the gunnels of the top rail while transitting to and from hunts. Then I used my industrial grade sewing machine to make two backing tarps out of green woven plastic material(the same stuff Sand bags are made of . I zip tied them in place with the help of my 8 year old daughter, who says Dad will you take me and my friend Aidan out hunting in the boat! ;D Yup I will says Me. the material isn't water proof but it will stop the wind and rain blowing right thru the camo netting and with the second set of support rails running down both sides there is tons of room for more gear.(great idea Mike and chezz) Before cutting the Camo netting I trimmed the corners off the front sides to make it look even all along the sides. After cutting out the seating area I am gonna use some pieces of net I bought from Macks PW to make flaps to fasten in with 2 inch velcro to make the gaps hide the shooters better

wouldn't of happened without your guy's help and previous build experience. I really appreciate ya letting mike polish up his welding skills on your prototype before tackling mine.LOL "quote of the day---You weren't that $#@&*^ fussy when ya welded up my blind" LOL I really appreciate the effort. now if i can just get these damn boards over with we can get out and use it.

I do recall saying that more than once during the build...
And yours went together much quicker...
