Great pictures! Looks like everyone had a good time. How do you like the Sportspal? I've got the same one. Great little rig, aren't they?

Yes indeed great pictures-the token shot of our feathered friends always a bonus.

The sportspal canoe is very easy to work with, its as stable as hell, holds about 500 lbs. of gear and still floats in 4 inches of water...
Yep, great canoe... Only problem is that it was a loner to try it out to see if I liked it. I'm sold!!

Yes indeed great pictures-the token shot of our feathered friends always a bonus. And the day before, (my scouting day), there was a flock of Geese that had to be 40 or 50 floating in the river...sweet.

If you're interested in buying one, the place in Porter's Lake sells them for a decent price. They are worth every penny. My father has had one for 20+ years and we can't kill it! I've had mine for about 5 years now and I love it.

You guys were right down in my old stomping grounds, There used to be an old ball field on the other side of that old bridge, I spent a lot of time down there either on a dirtbike or in a canoe, been years since I've been down there....Thanks for the pics!

I was just curious about a price on these canoes so I called Sunset today. $675 + tax for the 12' pointed stern w/seats.

How were the catches on the river? I'm a member of the newly forming Musquodoboit River Association, we're using creel surveys to get a baseline for the river, before any conservation changes are implemented.

To tell the truth, the water was too low, too warm, and any sea trout could not get up. What we needed was a big rain then some action would of been happening.
So score... Us = 0 fish. Fish = 3 fishermen.
;D
Oh and in the pic. where the guys line is tight....Snag !! Belive me, if we had fish, you would be looking at the photos of them...But we had a good time anyway.
Cheers
