Does anyone know if the Earnscliffe Pheasant Preserve is still active? I went on a few hunts there back in the mid 90's.

First let me say welcome to the site Gravyboat! As far as Pheasant Preserves go the only one I had knowlege of was at Danny Nieforths farm in Milford. No Longer exists as a preserve

Thanks for the welcome. I guess I should have added that it was Earnscliffe, PEI.

I did a quick google search with no listings so I would probably guess that they are no longer or not well publicized

Just wait until the boys from the island check back in, I'm sure they'll know

There is a pheasant preserve out towards Elderbank. I have hunted in the area, but not on the preserve. We did stop by to see the guy - his name is John Dillman. Nice guy, nice looking land. I think it was 150 for him to put out 5 birds for a couple of guys with a dog or two to work, but don't quote me on that.

Hey Gravyboat, the preserve at Ernescliffe is still operational. I am not a member but did shoot there in the past (yrs and yrs ago) I think some of the guys got together to do a Pheasants Forever Chapter and are trying to get( or already have some) Live trapped wild birds from away and released on the island to try and get a more viable population going... Welcome to BD Elmo
