you want as few seams as possible and much like a dress maker you need to make a pattern to cut your cloth

What would you suggest for sealing the tile adhesive, fiberglass resin?

Ryan-It dries waterproof and hard . There is no sealant required.

Slightly wet burlap, not soaking wet, will make it easier to drape over the decoy and conform to its irregular shape. Also when drying, the burlap will shrink a bit thus making a thighter fit over the decoy. I use a stapler gun to fix the burlap over the decoy. Sometimes I remove the staples when the glue starts to harden, but more often than not the staples will remain, completly covered by glue and paint
