under 18 inch is illegal,,and usualy they cut it off behind the grip!!
glad only the gun is hurt if you were firing it and dam if you fell and it happened....

Hope they come through for you Anth. Pretty reputable company, so I can't imagine that they wouldn't stand behind their product. That said, I guess customer service is only as good as the person that you get on the other end of the line! Good luck - hope it works out.
