Nice shot Ed! Did you use your new photo editing software for this one? yes indeed - but---- one also has to have the eye not only to see the shot, to execute the shot, but also prepare the shot for viewing . Living in a digital age allows us the luxury of being able to enrich our images . Lots of folks overdue it-- so like using the camera the post editing requires some skill and forethought as well. I went out when the frost was heavy and by the time I hit home it was melted everywhere so my timing was good - timing is important composition - with the trail leading into the woods it takes the eye into the picture - so that was intentional My only regret is that I didnt catch a grouse reaching for the trees -LOl Appreciate the comments -its those kind words that have inspired me for these past few years that I have been taking pictures to always try to do better
