My bad...I should have posted this along time ago... My brother, son and I have done this at least 20 times this year and all but once it worked...snip the wings..clean it and toss it on the BBQ or in the oven with the spices needed... We've done every duck shot like this for the last 3-4 years..
I remember one day I did 18 ducks in 20 minutes....
A pair of sheet metal shears works great for removing the wings

Chezz I agree..and up until I watched the video..well a good old knife did most of my breasting...but every now and then I like a just like mom use to do...good old oven roasted butterball(plucked) Mallard...

I've been using a bird hitch for four years now. It has worked well for me, especially on the Spring Snow Goose hunts.
