Justin, looking for a recipe for a good seaduck stew, my Grandmother always demanded I get some scooters for her so that she could make a stew. God Love her she is gone now and never gave me the secret, but she could make a scooter taste better tahn most blackducks. Since you are from the shore you must have a good recipe for a good ole stew. Can you share???

i tried to make a duck stew with black ducks notto long ago but i put a little to much montreal steak spice in the pan when searing it ,ill try it again here soon with the goose i just got to see how it tastes and let ya know...
my ma used to take the eiders and bake them in the oven covered in bacon[skinned]mind you..we used to cut slices off like a roast and use them in sandwichs for the next days hunt..mustard cheese salt and pepper ummm good...
