Hi guys, Last year myself as well as Dave Doggett and several other site members from novascotiafishing.com helped out with a fishing day for a local day-camp for autistic kids. The campers had a blast, and I can tell you that it was one of the most rewarding things that I've done in a long time. We are running this again on Monday at Shubie Park from 10-12 and I am really hopeful that some of you could step up to help make this go smoothly. No experience with autism is necessary - just some bodies with spare rods/reels. We mostly fished bait (worms) under floats last year and that worked well, although some campers became proficient casters as well! Smallies and speckles. There are just two of us so far, but Dave Doggett is in the loop on this and keen to come out again if it fits his schedule. It would be fantastic to have another 2-3 bodies and rods to join in the fun! Please let me know by email (dreamwaters@hotmail.com) or by posting here. -Croc Notice the beaudog shirt!
