heres my new project I have taken on ....I should have it done mid week if all goes well weather wise ...here are some pics I took of the progress I made this afternoon...man grinding fiberglass ant fun LOL I know it don't look like much but when I am done it will make a wonderful open water boat ( I hope LOL)

here is what I have done to date ....I did some fiber glassing after the pic was taken but tomorrow night I should be ready to cover the top in should be ready Sat or sunday

;)Looks great so far Justin. Is this for sea ducking and to be top shell encased? What type of weight were you going for and what HP engine did you want to finish with. I built one similar and made the dam thing top heavy and too round. Could not float it worth beans. $$$$$on fiberglass matt down the toilet. Best of luck

mine is 6 foot wide and 12.8 long I plan to put a 15hp four stroke (if I got themoney LOL) on the back...it should be alright the top shell will be fiberglassed to the boat and so far the top shell is fairly light I can handle the top shell alone to move it around but if it is top heavey I just run cement in it I am alreay plannin on weightin it down with rocks and a white sheet over it to drift with the ice fo r geese...ya gotta remember I have nuts and longs she floats I good to go LMAO but serious thinks for the insight on what you had happen ...what was the size of yours??? plus mine is only low anyways so shouldn't be bad I hope LOL
