I noticed that we are seeing a lot more of these around close to the city as well..I haven't seen them out this way yet but just like the Mallards did, they will eventually get down this way..

Very nice to see you always have the camera at hand Chezz. Always good to see the more rare around and it would be great if only we could get a crack at one

When I was on Prince Albert Rd and walked past Sullivans Pond on the way to the ferry each day, there was a very nice Eurasian Wigeon used to hang out there. Not sure if its around this year or not but might be interesting to check.

Early in the season the pond of water across from the Lawrencetown community centre usually has a flock of about 50 -75 widgeon in it they normally move to cole harbour aboutfirst week of november then out. Have been lucky enough to get two one night there.. and a pintail..
