Just in from the southwestern shore of Nova Scotia . Hi there have been a few bunches of brants flying around the southwest shore along with hunderds of paired up eiders and ol'squaws with a alot of geese feeding in the habours...there have been a few black ducks have been spotted paired up along the shores hope this info helps I will keep ya informed on what is going on in this area justin Thanks justin keep your eyes in the skies. I was out just the other day and I saw many pairs of blacks and mallards in the corn fields and ditches and the Salmon River. Melting season is apon us and open water is showing up everywhere. SNOW!! well since that little rotten rodent popped his head out of his hole there has not been one day without snow of some form flying around the truro area.That rodent`s name is shubinakidee SAM and he will be on the most wanted list if winter continues any longer. and here is the local weather for truro weather.chappy.ca/Its a neat weather site and has tidal info to for you down by the bay duckers This has been your feather report for today..

I have a question about brant asked alot boys down here nobody seems to know about 3000 brant here know are they migrating north from here or south from here reason I ask is when fall migration is on I have never seen a single brant why.

They are heading North. Migrate southward late August-early Sept. Arrive along Atlantic coast by mid-Oct
