My father and i as far is i can remember used these silo's that he wipped up and all you need is one sring of floating silos and you will bring birds in from a long ways away!!
I.'m only 31 years old but i will tell you i have never seen a silo work like the oleman's
They called him the seaduck king here in eastern passage and him and i killed some pile of birds 20 years ago with them silos and even now!!! if your interested let me know!!
