Yup, I got some bits and pieces there (Atlantic fabrics place on Strawberry Hill - not sure if that's the same as the Old Aberdeen mall), and also at Fabricland, but neither place would order in what I wanted because I needed just a yard or so and they had to order a minimum amount. This also may have been because what I wanted was kinda specialized (camo-patterned mesh netting to make a dog window for my blind - Geesh, the things I don't do for that dog!).

snyder creek has two types of netting Face mask mesh and decoy bag mesh with 1/4 inch mesh 6.95/yd and 7.90/yd USD Maybe if a few of us got together we might make it worth the cross border hassle if we can't get it in our own country

In the end, I bought camo mesh at CT for 12 bucks - (probably similar the the face-mask-mesh) - used that to make my "dog viewing window" and still had enough left to sew onto my big piece of camo burlap that I use as a canoe-cover (what kind of a dumbass hunter buys a red canoe? You're looking at him... Nice and photogenic during fishing season, but a frigging nightmare to hide during hunting season!).

I hear your pain Crockett. Try hiding a 10 man Zodiac with grey climatite material. I have to make a new cover this year and I am going to try to make a pop up blind for the thing as well. I really like the boat it sits so low on the water it just works great.Once I get the Camo it will only take me an evening or two to sew it all up.

Hey Newguy, Keep me up to date on your success finding material. The camo burlap from CT works fine for hiding the boat, but once it soaks up water it weighs a TONNE. The camo mesh is lighter and doesn't hold water, but it's too transparent. If you find some max-4 (or some other nice general camo pattern) cordula like fabric -doesn't have to be water PROOF, just not absorbant like burlap - I'd take 20 feet of it depending on the cost. Good luck making the pop-up for it. I got some info on custom pop-ups from the same company who make the pop-up chair blind - nice looking blinds with the same snap-up lid operation, but cost may be nuts. The website has some clips and pics on it (http://www.popupblind.com/) and if you call you'll get buddy directly on the phone and he'll also send a video (which I would give you if I could find it - just looked and suspect that the wife threw it out) and info about it all.
