All subjects photographed were certified "fair chase"... LOL LOL LOL - sounds like the gauntlet has been thrown! Just to stir the pot, I'll also point out that I have not yet gotten around to giving Rob my copy of Photoshop, so those shots are fair-chase AND un-edited!

Yep, that'd be fun for sure. However, it's completely dependant on two things: 1. You shoot with a 400mm and I'm only carrying 200. It'd be embarrassing for me to be seen with some old geezer packing more length than me. I'll have to buy my EF 400 L first. LOL! 2. The purchase of said 400mm lens is dependant on whether or not someone can supply me with a stylish and suitable camera case at an extremely low price. I do have to fork out A LOT of $$$ for that kind of glass.

C'man - let's see the results of the showdown! I'm sure Ed will lend you his lens for a while to calm your lens-envy.

It's not the size of the lens Croc... it's what you can do with it. Clearly, the addition of the 2x converter is a sign of his unwillingness to stalk his game, waddling down through field to get the shot if you will. I, on the other hand, make up for reeeeach with my seasoned stalking skills. I also have youth on my side so I don't mind getting out of the car.
