And to have an early season on the south shore is almost laughable. Agreed... this is why it's legislated for agricultural areas only with no water hunts..So Port Jolie is out... As is my area... And like you say.... the fields aren't cut at that time so this will restrict the number of harvested birds as well....

And if I was paying for them I'd be a little loud about haveing them ready too.But that doesn't mean it won't hurt the rest of the season.Maybe enough birds up your way,I don't know.But don't think it would be a good thing here.

The survey is all about season changes. The early season is all about nuisance season and does and will not affect our regular seasons length. That is my understanding. Season change has been in the works for the past couple years. This early goose season is something I just recently heard about. Correct me if I am wrong though I dont think the CWS survey has anything to do withe the early goose season does it ??
