The decoy was made by Don Mintz of Idaho & I think it's pretty lame that the owner of the site used Don's pics without permission.

You never gave any credit to the owner & artist of the decoy, matter of fact two post's before mine (3-14) a guy asked who made it & you didn't respond!!! LAME! Then another guy calls you an artist (3-23) & still no response as to who carved the decoy!!! LAME!!! Answer me this, did you get permission off of the artist to post his pictures on your site? Another thing if you truly wanted to give him credit you would have mentioned his name right off the bat. I was right you are lame

Mike I have just gone on the fuge and informed the thread maker I will make the necessary corections . we have 54 members here not 180000 and so we tend to become a little lax like small sites can be

I understand being lax, but you responded to other threads & never responded to this until I called you out on it. You were letting guys "think" it was you who did the carving. It's your forum & you were just a "little" lax??? Still didn't give credit to the TEXTORIGINAL TEXT artist, you said "It's from the Refuge" big deal!!! LAME!!!!

C'mon mike tell us what is yer fuge name?
Mike you are the very first to protest my usage of material that did not disclose all details .The guys on here are not as cocerned about such issues. We are again only 54 not 180000 members strong. Most have been around awhile and appreciate a site like this because they hate the bullshit of the whiners and bashers!!!! We come to have fun and actually discuss what is important with our own waterfowl issues.
With respect to the Foamer issue- since you have pointed the errors of my ways I have contacted the originators of the sticky and told them that I posted it up. Unless you represent them then I consider the issue closed . Many of the members here are fugers and are well aware of where the original can be found.
Thanks for yer comments Mike

Yaawwwwnnn here we go thought I left that crap on the fuge . Well I really don't see the issue except you say BD should have gave Don credit , most of us know BD's work and it is not that good Most of us are from the fuge and knew who made the decoys and the how too's. Now lets get back to what is site is about hunting and sharing knowledge whether it comes from in the brain or off another site . Secomdly if you must know BD is the first to give credit to others work and pictures so he was forgetfull with one post I guess we should take him out back and whip him with a switch

I noticed the website on the bottom of ODN's and clicked on it, checked out the decoys and lo and behold here I am the topic of conversation. Of course I would have liked to get the recognition for the artwork, I make my living doing this kind of stuff.
Let me be of some help here and clear up some of of the tips. I use 2" blue foam from Home Depot, if you used 1.5" you'd need three sheets. I use 5 minute epoxy to glue sheets together and only a small line of it in the middle so that it will not interfere with carving or sanding. I cut them out on a band saw and do all the shaping with a fillet knife and a foredom. I used only a fillet knife and sandpaper on my first ones.
You are welcome to use any of the information that I have posted in the past, just ask, but I would appreciate having my name tagged on them. I'm happy to help where I can, but also need to make a living.

Very kind of you indeed. woodduck31. Your how -to has been of great benefit to a couple of the fellas on here Me being 1. I will post yer name up on the sticky as it should have been in the first place. We were only about 10 members at the time so not much formality back then.
